                                           Stallions
Tide Creek Jack Frost~*Pendock Prospector~Gallod Time To Go ~ Lascaux Private Idaho
All of our stallions (except Lascaux Private Idaho) carry one copy of the dilute gene, which means that when bred to another dilute (Buckskin, Palomino, Smokey Black) they have a 25% chance of producing a double dilute foal or a single dilute buckskin, palomino or smokey black foal, for fun here is a link to a Color Calculator to determine possible foal colors. Here is another link to the Double Dilute Website to explain more about horse colors.

Stallion fees are $650/Live Cover plus mare care-AI is offered on  Tide Creek Jack Frost,*Pendock Prospector  plus collection and shipping fees, all AI is done through Oakhurst Reproduction Clinic in Newberg Oregon, Jack Root DVM (503)554-0227

Prospector is an absolutely stunning Buckskin 13'2hh Sec B Stallion originally imported from Wales by Cynthia Kirby of Saltwood Farms, I remember just getting into the breed and going to Cynthia's website and being so impressed by her ponies and especially Prospector, never imagining I might one day add him to the Stallion Roster here at Tide Creek. I remember meeting Rosemary Phillipson Stowe who judged one of our shows and being so impressed with her knowledge and her famous breeding program. I  also owe many Thanks to Gwynn Hubbell of Barkmeadow Farms in New York for allowing me this wonderful opportunity and entrusting me with her golden boy. Prospector has already produced some lovely foals for Cynthia and Gwynn and I look forward to seeing what he produces here at Tide Creek, we are so thrilled. Prospector will be offered at Stud live cover and AI in 2010

High Point Champion Sec B colt for the NW Region, WPCSA for 2000, Jack had an outstanding show year winding up champion colt for the region.  Jack stands an impressive 13'2 now and has 10 foals on the ground, we've really been impressed by all of them, not only is Jack throwing his size and bone and body, but "COLOR" too, Jack is turned out too be a Smoky Black Roan so far he has sired three cream (Double Dilute foals), one palomino roan, two buckskins and a black roan and three bays so there is the added influence of color, he's had two roan foals so far out of the 10, pictures of all his foals are in his foal pages link below, we really need too get new pictures of Jack too show how much he's matured, he's a wonderful big bodied pony with tons of bone perfect for Sportpony crosses. New photos added to Jacks Pedigree page. Jack also bred his first TB mare this year and were anxiously awaiting the results of that breeding. Jack is also licensed for A.I. now with the WPCSA and his first Shipment took on the first try, so he also ships very well. AI is available at an extra charge through Oakhurst Reproduction info at the top of the page.
