Our Foundation Stock
~
Our friend and Stallion for 15 years, Sunny had to be gelded after a bout with
Peritonitis, it was the only way to save our old friend so we are grateful to
still have his bright eyes looking at us every morning, he lives on through all
of his progeny we think he has over 50 foals on the ground, and his two
daughters here at Tide Creek. 08/05/09~
"Sunny" came to us in the fall of 1994, straight from
the Welsh of Wisconsin double gold rated show where he placed first in the
colt class and was Junior Champion colt. He also received Reserve Champion
Section B colt for the North Central Region from the WPCSA year end awards.
Sunny has consistently placed under many judges. This year he was 4th place
Section B stallion 3-4 years for the Northwest Region.
Tide Creek Amber was the only
one shown in '97, and after only two shows, she was WPCSA Champion Section B
filly for the Northwest Region. She bears her father's definite stamp, as well
as sharing his wonderful temperament she is currently starting a performance
career with her new owner in California Betty Jo Dotson and we are thrilled
with the results.
Sunny was started under saddle, and is proving to be just as versatile and
willing. He shows definite promise for a long career under saddle and as a
sire of promising children's mounts with his looks, presence, and attitude.
He also has sired several lovely crossbred foals out of TB and WB mares
pictures in his foal page below along with an amazing ratio of colored
foals.

Lanes Pixie
(*Bowdell Buccaneer/Cui Mouse)
"Pixie" is a Section B chestnut roan at 12.2 and a half hh.
She has many AHSA and WPCSA championships to her credit, both my
daughter's rode and enjoyed Pixie in Pony Club and Open Shows as well as
Welsh Shows. Her son Tide Creek Jack Frost are the foundation for our next generation of Sec B ponies.
Pixie is now retired from the broodmare band but her legacy will live on
through her son. |

Lanes Sparkles (Gayfields Now You See It/Lanes Cherry Blossom)
"Holly" is gray and stands a a solid 13'3"hh. she's been
a great producer for us over the years producing many exceptional
daughters for us Tide Creek Amber, Tide Creek Tigerlily,Tide Creek Morning
Glory,Tide Creek Princess Grace, Tide Creek Saamantha,Tide Creek Jackie-O Holly's first foal Tide
Creek Amber by Kenfel Sunbird, was WPCSA regional champion Sec B for
1997 and 1998 and is now doing really well in Performance with her new
owners in California. Holly is one of the pillars of our breeding program her
daughters are all nice sized athletic beautiful ponies, and as a
broodmare she is priceless with seven fillies in a row so far bred
to Kenfel Sunbird for 2005 |

*Rosedale Fairy Prince

Imported from Wales by Asgard Welsh in 1982, Prince is a
stunning bay 13hh Section B stallion who is a proven producer of champion
performance and halter winners, including one of Princes son's who sold at a
Professional Auction back east as a talented Hunter Pony for $17,000 than went
on to sell again for over $30,000.He passes
on his lovely temperament and movement to his offspring .Even though Prince
hasen't sired many foals for us. I still consider him part of our foundation
through his grandson Kenfel Sunbird and his daughter Tide Creek Princess
Grace were hoping for another foal or two to continue Princes contribution
to our Farm.
