We finally have a foal on the ground "YEAH" its been a few years and we miss having little ones running around, he's so cute a big leggy chesnut colt with 3-4 socks and a blaze and its so fun to watch him play and run in his pasture right below our deck. Still thinking on names, and waiting for one more foal by *Prospector and out of Tide Creek Princess Grace due in about three weeks so check back.
Gosh I've been bad about updating this year, we have gone to three shows this year, where did the summer go? We sold a few ponies and just bought a new filly from Kim Boyd at Sterling Creek Welsh, Sterling Creek Absolute-(Goldhills Maverick/Cuesta Anacappa) and we just love her. Domino is now in California with Kim and Matt Boyd and we can't wait to see him at the shows next year, were so excited. I drove Lascaux A Go Go a few times and that was fun, though I need alot more practice, hopefully next year I can be better prepared but at least we did it so that was fun, and a big accomplishment for me. We bred two mares this year to *Pendock Prospector, Lanes Covergirl and Tide Creek Princess Grace so were excited to have two late foals next year and our first from Prospector sometime in July. Now were just cleaning up everything and getting ready for the long wet winter, I have a feeling it isin't too far away since the summer was sort of hit and miss. Our Garden did not do so well either were still hoping to get a few tomatoes before the weather turns really cold, we have lots of green ones right now but nothing ripe, from that wet cold spring we had clear into June really set everything back. Our Photographer friend, Kristin Zabawa had a big show at the Talisman Gallery at the Alberta Art Fair we had alot of fun attending that and seeing all the ponies in print, and now Kristin is getting ready for the big show at the Sundance Film Festival in December were hoping Kristin is as big a hit there as she is here, we just love her photos though were probably a little biased.

He's here *Pendock Prospector just arrived yesterday from Gwynn Hubbell in New York, many thanks to Gwynn for this lovely Stallion we are so thrilled, Prospector has some lovely foals on the ground already from Gwynn's lovely "Barkmeadow" breeding program and we hope he will sire many more here at Tide Creek, hoping to get pictures in a few days after he has some time to recover check back for more updates and pictures, or check out his magnificent pedigree on our stallion pages.

~ Our friend and Stallion for 15 years, Sunny had to be gelded after a bout with Peritonitis, it was the only way to save our old friend so we are grateful to still have his bright eyes looking at us every morning, he lives on through all of his progeny we think he has over 50 foals on the ground, and his two daughters here at Tide Creek. 08/05/09~
Guess I'm way behind in updating the website, but its almost spring, were expecting just one foal out of Lanes Tammy Lee and by Tide Creek Jack Frost in April, Lascaux Gogo is in foal to *Fourways Calico but the foal belongs to Amy Hale so were looking forward to at least one foal this year. We had lots of year end awards for us and other Tide Creek Ponies, Tide Creek Diablo earned his L.O.M. this year and took home tons of National Champion Titles with his owner so we were thrilled about that, and Tide Creek Rowan was Reserve National Champion Sec D mare and is going under saddle now so were anxious for her show career under saddle to begin this year with her owner Amy Hale. Lascaux A Gogo was Adult Pleasure Driving Champion C & D for the NW Region for 2008 so we were thrilled with that, and also was 3rd place for the NW Region for Ridden Welsh Classic C & D for her first year under saddle and driving and Gogo was also 3rd place for the Region for Section C mares, not bad for just getting out to a couple shows. Gallod Time to Go was again third place in the National Sire Ratings for WPCSA so we were thrilled about that for Thor so alot of accomplishments to be proud of. Were hoping 2009 and will be a great year as well for Tide Creek Ponies and the economy will pick up again for everyone, we won't be going to the shows this year were sitting out a year and trying to get stuff done around home. Happy Spring everyone

WOW have we got snow, were up to 11 inches now, this is a first for me I've never seen this much snow luckily the ponies seem to be enjoying the cold rather than the mud, that is the nice thing about cold weather, NO MUD!! You have to like that. Were just waiting for year end awards, Gogo is in 5th place nationally last time I checked just after a couple shows I really had fun driving her this year. Amy Hale did such a nice job of training her so we'll plan on doing that again!! Hope everyones ready for Christmas and the rest of this weather.

WOW has it been this long, summer is just flying by!! We had a wonderful time in Walla Walla, the catered dinner was wonderful and Sharon did a great time of organizing the games we had a ball and it was a very homey and fun show, brought back memories of why we show watching all the kids have such a great time. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and worked together to get everyone where they needed to be everyone who didden't come really missed a good time, Many thanks for Sharon and Mike McHone and their family for hosting such a great show. Our show news was Lascaux A Go Go won her C mares class under Judge Brian McClelland and was Second and Third under the other judges, and went onto Champion C/D Mare and Reserve tied with Amy Hales Sec D mare Tide Creek Rowan and Gogo was Reserve Grand Champion C/D so we had a great time (hopefully I have all that right)!! I drove in harness for the first time by myself and had a blast, I have been talking about wanting to drive for 10 years so guess it was time, Liz McCosh and Lorri Elkington were very kind and helpful and not to mention encouraging as was everyone else so were the judges and my own help Section, Tony my other half and friends Hal Westbrook and Lei Broadstone so I definitely will drive again it was great fun after I got over all the nerves and Gogo was a doll so hopefully I'll be driving alot more in the future.
Just home from the Walla Walla shows and we had a blast, we took Tide Creek Augustus who was first and second at the gold show and Champion and Reserve under the British Judge. Lascaux A Go Go won the Ridden Cob for all three shows, and also drove for the first time in the Carriage and Pleasure Driving and did great, was Reserve Champion for two of the three driving divisions all at her first show and also did very well in halter under the British Judge in the Gold Show, Gogo was handled trained and shown by Amy Hale of Cardod Welsh and Amy did a great job. Amys mare, Tide Creek Rowan was Supreme and Reserve Supreme at the two bronze shows so that was exciting, hopefully we'll be showing more in driving in the future. We had one foal before we left home from Midnight Merigold another black colt with a nice blaze and no socks a matched pair for Kinnic Kinnic Alabaster Splash's filly and Lanes Sparkles had a buckskin going gray colt on 5/25/08 looks like Lanes Katy Lee will be next and then Lascaux Echo will be in June.
May 11, 2008
"Happy Mothers Day" we have another new foal, North Forks Lady Delia foaled a HUGE dun colt yesterday morning, and Lanes Covergirl had a gorgeous palomino filly on 5/3/08 so were off to a great start. I've been watching the OWPS Spring Show and having a great time this weekend, nice to watch instead of showing and there were lots of Tide Creek Ponies there so it was really fun were attending the AWE Spring Fling in Walla Walla, Washington in two weeks so that should be fun to catch up with everyone and Gogo will be driving so that will be lots of fun hope to see you there:) Pics of the new foals on the foals page.
Our new pony just arrived today and were very excited to announce that Lanes Tammy Lee-(Gayfields Mastermind/Lanes Katy Lee) is HERE, 13'3hh Black mare with three socks and a star, were looking forward to seeing what she produces for us, Lanie has had several foals in the past all crossbreds so were excited to add her to the broodmare band. Many thanks to Joanie Zier and family of Deaver, Wyoming for allowing us the opportunity to purchase another lanes pony, our favorite bloodlines:)
"Happy New Year" were slogging around in the mud wishing for dry weather and spring it really can't come quick enough around here, but we do have some news our Regional Awards came in the mail and we were surprised that Tide Creek Bella Donna was NW Region Champion for Sec C fillies after only one show, so we are thrilled that little Bella is a Regional Champion and Lanes Chorus Girl was Reserve Champion for English Pleasure for WPCSA NW Region, we'll have to mail the award to her new owners. We also want to Congratulate Amy Hale for Showing Tide Creek Rowan to WPCSA National Champion Sec D filly for 2007 and many Regional Awards with Rosie and Tide Creek Eira, also Tide Creek Diablo owned by Liz Hofer has many WPCSA National Performance Titles and Regional Awards so its been a great year "Thank-You to both Amy Hale and Liz Hofer for all they've done with their wonderful Tide Creek Cobs! The weather here has been wild, some tropical type storms that dumped nearly 12 inches of rain here in 24 hours flew through and than some wild freezing weather we don't normally experience so were definitely ready for spring and foals and shows!

We are hosting the next Emerald Empire Welsh Society Meeting here at Tide Creek on 9/23/07, so were looking forward to a great time at the meeting and BBQ hoping to see everyone one last time after Show Season ends, we had a great time at the EEWPS show in August but were glad to be done, Tonys busy getting everything ready for winter we have our hay in the barn and are hoping for another month or so of good weather before the rains start, were will be starting to wean foals pretty soon but the weather has already changed you can sure tell its fall already the days are getting shorter, we did not have much of a summer, I'm still waiting on a few more hot days to hopefully ripen the tomatoes otherwise were going to have lots of green ones hanging around. Hoping to see everyone on the 23rd.

We are just home from the OWPS/Western Nationals show in Albany, Oregon and we had a ball as usual, the ponies did well we took our Black Mare Kinnic Kinnic Alabaster Splash aka Allie and she did well double fifths under both judges at Western Nationals and she was very well behaved we also took Midnight Merigold for her first under saddle outing with Heidi Keyser and she did a great job training and showing Meri, Meri also did leadline which was fun with Heidi's niece. The foals are all safely here and we have quite a few for sale all the Sec B foals this year, we kept the two Cob fillys this year so all the B's are available two colts and two fillys check out the foals page for more pictures. We had so much fun at the show the Double Gold NWWC in Moses Lake, Washington we only took two of our own ponies but Annie Beamer was there with Gus aka Tide Creek Augustus and Amy Hale was also there with Tide Creek Eira who won the Ridden Cob and her new filly " Tide Creek Rowan" aka Rosie who did really well in halter so needless to say we were thrilled I can't even remember all the placings guess I'm still on Cloud 9, we took our five year old mare Kinnic Kinnic Alabaster Splash aka "Allie" and she was so good she loved showing and was so fun she was second in her halter class under both judges and we also took our Sec B mare Lanes Chorus Girl, Sierra Haglund was kind enough to ride her for me in the Junior English Pleasure and she won one of her division classes and placed Second in the other two so ended up Reserve Champion English Pleasure, Sierra also rode her western (we weren't sure if she knew western but she was a trooper so we tried it) and she won a 2nd in that pretty good for not having a neck rein, and Sierra enjoyed riding her so much she switched her for her eq class and also won 2nd so we were thrilled, Cory is such a wonderful childs pony it makes me sad I don't have anymore riders or this pony would never be for sale, she loves to show. We also have three new foals, Lascaux A Go Go presented us with a wild lovely palomino sabino filly by *Popsters Mr Bojangles were so thrilled, Bella is definitely here to stay and Tide Creek Princess Grace had a lovely "BIG" Buckskin filly by Tide Creek Crackerjack and Lanes Misty Lee had a darling smokey black colt with two whites and a blaze so just waiting on one last foal thats hopefully a keeper filly out of StageCoach Chloe and by Misty Mountain Brynmor were hoping for a filly to keep, Chloe is due 7/02/07 so stay tuned our Jack Russell Puppies are almost ready to go there so cute will be sad when they leave we haven't had a litter of puppies for two years so these have really been alot of fun well thats all the news for now seems like things are just flying by we've been so busy this year.
April 23rd, 2007

August 21, 2006
We just got home from the NorthWest Welsh Classic and had a ball, our second Sec B colt of the year Tide Creek Augustus went Junior Champion under the british judge which was just thrilling, our homebred Sec B mare Tide Creek Morning Glory went Reserve Champion Sec B mare also under the british judge and went on to win the Ridden AB class to say I was thrilled would be an understatement, Glory is one of my favorites and was pulled out of the broodmare band in May to start her undersaddle training, the only bittersweet thing is I'm realizing I really can't justify keeping such a wonderful under saddle pony, which is kind of sad for me. My Sec D mare Lascaux Echo was also at the show with her three month old Sec D colt by Gallod Time to Go and he also went Junior Champion Cob colt under the british judge, and Echo went on to place third in the ridden cob class with her colt standing outside the ring, we can't thank our two riders/trainers enough Heidi Keyser with Tide Creek Morning Glory and Amy Hale with Lascaux Echo!!! We also got some great news before leaving for the show Stagecoach Chloe my Sec D mare is confirmed in foal to Leah's Misty Mountain Brynmor so were keeping fingers crossed for a palomino Sec D filly, okay back to unpacking the trailer and stuff just had to share.
July 18, 2006
This summer is really flying by, we just got home from the Double Gold show in Eugene put on by Emerald Empire and had a ball, too much fun as usual we only took two cobs to this show so we could relax a little but were still making our goals of getting out some of our mares that haven't been shown before North Forks Lady Delia was great she rode western and english and even tried Ridden Cob got some nice placings in halter we were thrilled, Amy Hale has done a great job showing and training Delia and Echo, we also picked up Lascaux A Go Go who was coming home from being bred to *Popsters Mr Bojangles so were still hoping for a filly to keep, and Heidi Keyser brought Tide Creek Morning Glory this was Glorys second show and her first over fences, she's taking a break from the broodmare band as well this year and was started under saddle the end of may, Heidi's also doing a great job training and showing Glory we were so thrilled to watch her compete and place 2nd in her first ever over fences class. We also got to watch Tide Creek Eira and Amy show in Eira's first year under saddle so that was a thrill to finally see some of our own stock out there competing, and as always we had too much fun, Tony and Hal Westbrook barbecued for everyone we always enjoy that, next year were going to see if we can get an exhibitors party going for EEWPS, we should have some fun at the shows too!!! Were looking forward to the last show in Spanaway, the middle of August thats our favorite so hope to see everyone there. I posted more pictures of everyone on the Shows page.
Becky & Tony
NEW FILLY, so were officially done foaling for the year "YIPPPPEEE" now we can breathe a big sigh of relief, Lanes Katy Lee had a big gorgeous Black filly early this morning, one tiny off center star and an anklet by Tide Creek Jack Frost!! We can enjoy the last two shows of the year without any big worries.
June 26, 2006,
We had a great time at the OWPS Double Gold show in Albany, Oregon we took Midnight Merigold and her foal Tide Creek Alchemist and our two year old colt Tide Creek Crackerjack, they all did really well the Sec B classes were huge, the two colts really did well we were so pleased with all of them getting a second and a third placing in that kind of competition was great and everyone was well behaved, Crackerjacks getting quite a fan club going he has such a wonderful temperament for a two year old colt its hard to believe sometimes. We saw quite a few Tide Creek ponies at the show so that was fun Tide Creek China Doll was there and did really well and her mother Tide Creek Morning Glory did her first under saddle class which was really fun to see Heidi Keyser is doing a great job with Glory and many thanks to both Heidi Keyser and Heidi Juza of Canter Ridge ponies for helping us show everyone got kind of wild for the championship classes so we really appreciated their help, the weather was scorching on saturday so we took off early sunday morning to get home with the baby before it got to hot, we came home just in time for a new foal Flying Diamond Antique Lace had a big dun filly by Kenfel Sunbird I think that she will go gray though, we'll see its a nice filly regardless and can't complain about fillies, I need to get some new pictures of our palomino colt by *Heniarth Neon he's fluffing up really nicely and is really cute he's got four socks and a blaze a record for us, we are lucky to get one sock let alone four. I'll post some pictures later today I made a new page for the shows this year, Show page, things are so crazy around here we have one mare left to foal and hopefully she should foal before the next show, were going to EEWPS at Oregon Horse Center in Eugene also a Double Gold show, 7/15 & 7/16, we'll take two of our cobs and take it easy and our last show is at Tacoma Unit One in Spanaway, Washington in August can't wait hard to believe were half way through show season already.
WOW what an exciting week, Kinnic Kinnic Alabaster Splash foaled early out in the pasture and seemed to handle things just fine all on her own she had a lovely big bay filly with alot of white, three tall socks and a blaze, a gorgeous girl were so pleased and Lanes Chorus Girl had a cute palomino colt by *Heniarth Neon both girls are doing great we have just two left to foal and neither are first time moms so were off to the show in Albany this weekend to have some fun, hope to see everyone there.
FINALLY A FILLY!!!Born early this AM to Tide Creek Princess Grace-(*Rosedale Fairy Prince/Tide Creek Princess Grace) Dun Sec B filly.
More foal news Lascaux Echo had a gorgeous Dun colt by Gallod Time to Go, guess its definitely a colt year for us, were on colt # 6, Lanes Misty Lee foaled yesterday morning and had a gorgeous buckskin colt guess if your going to have colts you can't complain about colored ones more photos on the foals page, hopefully the last batch will be all fillies!!!Still waiting on Tide Creek Princess Grace this is her first foal and she definitely looks ready, I can't wait to see this foal, Gracie is our only *Rosedale Fairy Prince daughter and Sunny (Kenfel Sunbird) is a grandson so should be very exciting to see this cross.
June 5, 2006
Just a note before I have to dash out the door for work, we had a great time at the show we took 5 ponies which I don't think I'll ever do again WHEW, that was alot of work but it was great our baby Sec B colt Tide Creek Amigo (Kenfel Sunbird/Lanes Covergirl) all of 1 1/2 months old went first in his strong colt class and went onto Juniour Champion Colt which shocked us but we were so thrilled since we think he's pretty wonderful too, our two broodmares did really well in a nice mares class, one haden't been shown since she was two and the other Amigo's mom had never been shown they handled everything so well it was so nice to see, Lanes Brown Sugar went Reserve Grand Champion Sec B mare, and our other mare Lanes Covergirl was 4th place in a lovely mares class, we also took our Smokey Creme Colt "Tide Creek Crackerjack"(Tide Creek Jack Frost/Pajons Royal Promise Ring) and he was so good for his first show we were really pleased he was first in his colts class, and last but not least was our Sec C Cob mare Lascaux A Go Go who also went Reserve Grand Champion Cob Mare so we had a great weekend in spite of the rain, we got to sleep in the new trailer that was wonderful to lay there listening to the rain and not wonder where the puddles were going to end up he,he,he (like our last show we got soaked) the exhibitors party was wonderful as always and it was so fun seeing everyone again, even though most of the time I really didden't have time to visit. My camera went on the fritz just before the halter classes but the show photographer was wonderful and I was able to borrow a video camera from my friend so when we get that all sorted out I will have some pics and video and when I get the photographers photos back I'll post them.
June 1, 2006
Were leaving for Moses Lake for the AWE Northwest Summer Classic at the Fairgrounds, can't wait to see everyone, we won't be expecting any more foals until we get home so a welcome break for us from breeding and foaling, we look forward to seeing everyone again.
May 2, 2006
More foal news, four of the outside mares have foaled and so far Thor has two fillies, one out of a pony mare and the other out of a TB mare and Sunny has a filly and Jack has a colt, were waiting on Lascaux A Go Go and Lascaux Dosi Do to foal now there both due 5/7/06 so were off to a bang with foals can't wait to hear more news since we bred 13 outside mares last year a record for us, should be a fun year.
Wow really haven't posted anything since January, were way behind!! Foaling season was off to a bang with a gorgeous Dun colt by Kenfel Sunbird and out of Lanes Covergirl on 4/14/06 than a week later Midnight Merigold presented us with another double dilute colt born on 04/22/06 both were first time moms and did an awesome job and are great moms we have quite a few maiden mares this year so it will be an exciting foaling year for us and now were on foal watch for Lascaux Dosi Do bred to Gallod Time to Go and than Lascaux A Go Go is bred to *Popsters Mr Bojangles both due the first week in May so anytime now, were getting anxious for show season, we'll be attending the All Welsh Enthusiasts Spring Fling in Moses Lake, Washington this year the first weekend in June so were excited to finally get to use the new trailer, we bought an Exiss Aluminum three horse with a mid tack so its still sitting in the driveway brand spanking new without a speck of dirt on it, that won't last long but that new trailer smell is wonderful.......were slowly getting everything whipped into shape around here after the long wet winters, its so nice to have this warm weather for the first foals, I'm sure were not done with the rain yet but off to a good start for spring. We bought back a mare we bred so were happy to welcome Tide Creek Sunshine (Brookside Lucullus/Alvesta Koleda) back to the fold, Sunshine is four years old this year and had a lovely filly last year by Kenfel Sunbird, we haven't decided if or how many were breeding back yet more to come....
"Happy New-Year", Wow has it really been six months since I updated this page, time flies we missed the august show, which was a real bummer since its our favorite but Gogo went with Amy, she was nice enough to still take her and she won her mares class, went on to win Grand Champion Cob Mare "AGAIN" and ended up 1st place for the NW Region WPCSA year end awards and 3rd Nationally Gogo is in foal to *Popsters Mr Bojangles for early April we are so excited can't wait a filly will be a keeper but a colt may be for sale. We just got home from visiting Lascaux Echo and North Forks Lady Delia there both in training and on loan to Amy Hale and she's doing an awesome job with them , Delia's broke to ride and drive and Echo is broke to ride, the cobby girls training page is http:/www.tidecreek.com/cobbygirlstraining.com , Tony got to drive Delia so he had a blast and we got to see Amys new colt she imported from the U.K. he's gorgeous, he's going to be really nice. Blackjack has been in training and is going pretty well under saddle even jumping a little so he came home for the rest of the winter off, than he'll start again in the spring he's going to make a really nice riding pony, so we'll be busy again in 2006!! We'll hopefully be showing some of our older ponies who haven't been out yet so check back for more updates when the foals start. We also got a new Jack Russell Terrier female black and white puppy back in September from Illinois, CK Sheba will eventually be bred to our black and white male Romney legend, when she's older so have we been busy or what.....

We just got home from the WPCSA Western Nationals in Eugene we had a great time, we took two ponies Pajons Royal Promise Ring for her first time out under saddle, Promise has had a great in hand show career but we thought it was time to get her out and she did very well for her first show, Heidi Keyser did a great job of riding her for us and so did Heidi's student Brianna in the walk class, Promise also won First Place Sec B mare under Judge Kinko Hackney, and a third under Suzzane Stevens, and went on to Reserve Champion Sec B mare under Judge Hackney, Promise also won her Novice over fences class so we were thrilled, we also took Lascaux A Go Go, our Sec C mare wish there had been a better showing of cobs but Gogo won her bred mares class under both judges and went on to Reserve Champion Cob Mare under Judge Hackney, so we were thrilled thanks to Annie Beamer for showing her for us she did a great job wish I could run that fast he,he,he, Gogo just came home from being bred to *Popsters Mr Bojangles a gorgeous imported Palomino Sec C Stallion owned by our friends at Lascaux Welsh Cobs up in Spokane so were looking forward to that foal next year well one last show the NorthWest Welsh Classic in August, can hardly wait we've had alot of fun showing this year, hopefully Gogo will be driving by than, Amy Hale is starting her for us, she's home from her school year in Wales (Lucky Kid) and needed a project so were excited about that too, lots of things to look forward too this year, were really counting our blessings our foals were lovely this year and were still working on getting some of the girls bred back.

Our two boys Tide Creek Jack Daniels (Tide Creek Jack Frost/Alvesta Koleda) and Tide Creek Owen (Gallod Time To Go/Lascaux Dosi Do) just left with Bob Hubbard yesterday bound for California and their new home with Debra Weathers of Vacaville, CA, so that was exciting, its definitely fall around here the leaves are starting to change and we had an early bought of rain, were still waiting for our Semi load of eastern oregon hay to be delivered, but will hopefully be here in a week or so before the rains, we also have some news, we bought a new pony "Allie" Kinnic Kinnic Alabaster Splash arrived on 9/10 from Wisconsin and has quickly settled in and were so pleased with her, she has a lovely temperament and is a gorgeous black sabino Sec B filly by Starlight Majestic Black Eagle/Cardiff Colors, Allie will be bred to Tide Creek Jack Frost in the spring always fun to see what you get, you can see more pictures of Allie on her page http://www.tidecreek.com/alliespage.html were hopefully going to go to the October 2 show in Albany to watch, but other than that were winding down for winter, Amy brought Thor home after a lovely beach ride, the pictures are gorgeous and left for Wales 9/18 for a year of school, I know Thor will miss Amy, we will too hopefully she'll be back next summer for more fun! Cleo our Jack Russell Terrier is due any minute, so we'll have Christmas puppies this year that should be fun.
We just got home from the NWWC (North West Welsh Classic), in Spanaway, Washington had a great time, Thor at the last minute got a nasty hoof abscess and had to stay home which was really disappointing but such is life, he had a great first year under saddle and no complaints here Amy Hale did an awesome job with Thor and we couldn't have been any more thrilled with his progress, we decided to take Jack at the last minute since he looks so good, and Lascaux A Go Go our little C mare and future driving pony, we were amazed when Gogo won her mares class than went on to Cob Mares Champion in a huge class of Cob Mares I think there were at least 10 and than went on to the Supreme Class and was still in the running with having a trot off for the top three, we were thrilled for us and for her breeders our good friends Hal Westbrook and Lei Broadstone of lascaux Welsh, we always thought Gogo was the perfect C but always nice to get confirmation!! Were busy now weaning foals and may attend the last show in October with Gogo so hopefully we'll see everyone one last time at the October show, we had a great time the NWWC is always so much fun, the auction was wonderful and we had a great time, Tony's still recovering he,he,he!!!
Gosh where has the summer gone, we got home from the Emerald Empire Welsh Pony Show in Eugene last weekend we had a great time, Thor did well again winning the English Pleasure Division Championship, "WOW" were still in shock, he was such a good boy getting ribbons in almost every class he was entered in and doing western and english divisions, he gets better at every show and Amy is doing a fantastic job with him, in addition too his show schedule Thors also getting out riding and horse camping in the mountains and having a ball and proving what a good citizen he is! Were getting ready for our last show of the year the North West Welsh Classic in Spanaway, Washington 8/20-8/22 hope too see everyone there:)
June 29, 2004
We just got home from the OWPS Double Gold show in Albany, Oregon we had a great time as usual, Thor tried western for the first time and had a great time placing 1st in the novice western class and even placing in the regular division, Amy Hale did her usual fantastic job riding/training Thor and he was up for everything he tried even jumping for the first time, Thor won ribbons in almost every class he was in thanks too Amy and were so pleased with the pair she's only been riding Thor for a little over three months and WOW!!!
June 3, 2004
We've almost recovered from the All Welsh Enthusiasts Spring Fling, in Lewiston, Idaho 5/29/04 and 5/30/04 we had a great time, Thor won both of his halter classes and went back too the championship, he also won a third place in his English Pleasure Division with his trainer Amy Hale which was great Amy's done a great job with Thor we could not be more pleased, we also took Lanes Chorus Girl for leadline for Tonys two grandsons Gunnar & Logan Leasure so something for everyone, Thor also got too participate in the Liberty Class and won most spectacular show and easiest too catch so that was fun too. Lanes Chorus Girl and Lanes Brown Sugar went on lease too Sharon McHone too be bred too her palomino stallion *Heniarth Neon so were hoping for some gold in the future. We also got a new Jack Russell Terrier she's so cute 7 months old from Canada her name is Kit Fox Lizzy she's on the JRT's page now too take a breather before the OWPS show in June "WHEW"!!!
Well the foals are all here, six foals total four B's and 2 Sec C's and three colts and three fillies, so were 50/50 this year no complaints were absolutely thrilled with all of them, most will be for sale, I'm just keeping the last foal born the black filly Tide Creek Jackie-O out of my favorite mare "Holly" aka Lanes Sparkles so we have five foals for sale, were getting ready for the Lewiston, Idaho show the All Welsh Enthusiasts "Spring Fling" the end of the month its always alot of fun very laid back and friendly we missed it last year so we are really excited too get too attend this year, Gallod Time To Go is doing really well in his training so will be a little more relaxed atmosphere for him too show in this time before the two big shows in June and July and August.
We attended the newest double Bronze welsh show in Roseburg, Oregon on 05/02/04 and had a great time, our cob stallion Gallod Time To Go did very well, taking home a first in halter under judge Wing and a 3rd under Judge Beamer, and a Reserve Grand Cob Stallion in the Championship class were so pleased his trainer Amy Hale has done a great job with him and we are just thrilled with his progress he also went on too place fourth in his very first performance class and it was a huge one since they didden't split the different sections I think there were 11 or 12 in his performance division not bad for just over two months under saddle, the weather was gorgeous and the fairgrounds were a very nice facility we also got too see Tide Creek Amber with her new owners and did very well in the performance classes which was great fun, were now up too four foals "WOW" where did April go so far we have two boys and two girls and three too go, I just love this time of year there are foal pictures posted on the foals page all of our foals this year were born during the day, lucky us it will probably never happen again, and more pictures of Thors first show and his big swim in the river are on Thors pedigree page off of his link on the stallion page, were off too Lewiston, Idaho next for the Spring Fling the end of may, sure is nice too start off show season with a bang:)
Foals are finally starting too arrive here, both right around three weeks late, one Sec B filly by Tide Creek Jack Frost/Lanes Misty Lee first foal for her and its a lovely big bay filly, Shiloh Topaz had a big strapping Dun Sec C filly on 4/12/04 more photos on the foals page. Alvest Koleda is due today and looks like she could go anytime and next is Lascaux Dosi Do with another cob foal, most of our foals this year will again be for sale, so two down six too go.
Gosh has it been a month already, were still waiting on our first foals of the year Shiloh Topaz is due 3/26/04 she's in foal too Gallod Time Too Go and Lanes Misty Lee is due 3/27/04 this will be her first foal she's bred too Tide Creek Jack Frost so were anxious too see these foals, Shiloh had a lovely filly by Thor two years ago so were hoping for another one. Thors doing really well in his training so were anxious for show season too get some good pictures and video of him. The puppies are all sold and off too new homes so that was fun, we always enjoy the terriers and its fun when people come back again the next year too buy another one for a family member:) We still have two here too play with until they can be picked up so were enjoying them, there having a good time at camp one even tried swimming in the pond!! Loki and Eira went off too their new homes this week so we haven't got any foals to play with until the new ones are born always love this time of year.
Thors leaving on Sunday for training were really excited, hoping he'll finally make his debut under saddle this year he's doing really well on his round pen work and is ready too go, we got a new pony Lascaux Gogo a dark liver chesnut Sec C mare with four white socks this woulden't be so exciting unless you were the no white cob farm like we seem too be (he,he,he) were starting Gogo to drive, so were keeping Tony really busy this year with training ponies guess he won't have any time for any outside ones any more which is probably a good thing, the puppies are growing like weeds and are almost ready too go which is always fun, and last but not least Tonys finally breaking my cob Lascaux Echo in his spare time and hopefully Amanda will ride and show her for me this summer were almost ready for foaling our first foals are due the end of march and we'll be all done with foaling by the end of May now thats never happened before were actually on a schedule, heres too looking forward too "SPRING"!!!

Hard to believe Fall is almost over with, we've been busy weaning foals and getting them ready to ship, our two foals made it to Arizona without a scratch yesterday and are doing well, they will be the start of a new breeding program for Rhonda & Glen Jordan we look forward to hearing about their progress we heard they've already made a big splash at their arrival party:) The Florida ponies won't leave for another month so we've got room for a breather, its been a great year we've sold 10 ponies and got down to a more reasonable number for winter, have all our hay delivered from Eastern Oregon this year that was great fun instead of hauling load after load the ponies are getting chubby and furry for winter but still not looking forward too the long wet winter, we have one foal left to wean Tide Creek Loki he was a july foal so all we have left is our two cob foals from this year we sold all of our Section B's. Meri is settling in nicely and were so pleased with her, we've had a great year no complaints here all of our Sec B foals are sold and will be leaving for their new homes in October/November going to all parts of the US. Flying Diamond Magic Dancer went too her new home in Spokane area we'll miss her but she sounds like she's having a great time with her new family what more can you ask for than that ,we still have a lovely Sec D cob filly for sale and a C colt, thats all the news from here were still busy with breeding several outside mares will be so fun to see these crosses next year.

Spring is finally almost here though hard to fathom with this rainy weather, we've almost recovered from the AGM in Seattle, we had a ball was so fun to meet so many old and new friends and put faces to names, we took along Tide Creek Jack Frost for the Pony Parade held at Denise Youell's Farpoint Farm in Snohomish it was a beautiful facility and Jack really had a ball, in fact he didden't want to leave he enjoyed watching all the activities going on at Denise's place and had a great vantage point, I think he really enjoyed his mini vacation! We are anxiously waiting on our first foal of the year Lascaux Echo our Sec D mare is due 3/22 and starting to bag up already we can hardly wait, Echo is bred to our Sec D stallion Gallod Time To Go were also expecting JRT pups next week so our place should be nice and noisy and BUSY!! Can't wait for spring to officially be here, the ponies are starting to shed you can see the big white hair spots in the fields so Spring really is coming SOON!! We also had some great news one of our geldings Tide Creek Red Marle that was sold a few years ago to some pony club pals as a project is at Indio as we speak and really sounds like he's holding his own in the schooling divison, I've had so much fun looking up the results on the Indio website he WON a flat class and has placed in a few others from what I hear this is a great honor for such a young pony and his talented rider hope they send us pictures:)

Stagecoach Chloe arrived today from Barb Villani of Elizabeth, Colorado we've been waiting a year for this day to arrive, and it was well worth the wait. Chloe is four months old a Section D welsh Cob filly many thanks too Barb for all the extra care and attention she gave this poor girl after her mother died when she was only five weeks of age were so excited about her. We had to miss the last show of the year a first for OWPS their Bronze rated show but heard it was great fun and well attended. We are still waiting on one last foal our aged mare Lanes Pixie is in foal to *Rosedale Fairy Prince were anxious as her due date approaches were hoping for a filly but aren't we always she's due 10/20/02 the day before my birthday what a treat that would be. Amanda has been busy training her newest project Flying Diamond Magic Dancer our adorable Sec A mare we decided to sell and she's doing wonderfully under saddle this will definitely make a childs pony deluxe for some lucky kid. Tony's still working away on stallion pens and barn roofs and the usual never ending maintenance that goes with a farm of any kind especially with horses, who seem to be much harder on things than any other farm animal oh well keeps us busy. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here the past few weeks were hoping it keeps up through October before the rains come.
Becky & Tony
